My Wonderful Weekend

My Weekend started after school Friday. That day I had to hussle home so we could drive to Hartney for our hockey game against Melita.The hartney dressing rooms are pretty big and nice so we each had lots of room.

We didn't have a very good start to the game. It was a close score at the end of the first period and our Coach wasn't to impressed. In the second period we got our feeat moving and got a good lead going into the third. The third period we really stepped it up and got like 7 goals. The final score was 11 to 2 Virden.

After the game they told us we could leave our stuff in the rink but we had to put in the storage room so we did. The next day I jammed out to some tunes on the way there to get all pumped up for our next game against Carmen. We worked hard in the first period and got a score of 3 zip for us. We were reminded in the dressing room not to be like Team Canada and COMPLETELY fall apart. We went back out the and they got a goal but so did we. In the third period we got 2 more goals and they got 1. Virden pulled out the dub 6 to 2

Our game ended at 2 so we had some time because our next game wasnt till 5:30. We all just watched some hockey. It was Melita against Gladstone. Gladstone was who we had to play next. I went and taped my hockey stick as did most of the team when my dad brought a movie for us to watch. This movie is a show about guys doing stunts with Johny Noxville and other funny guys. So we were all watching it because it's something you watch with guys when Mr. Lewis our coach told us we should go get ready.

Some of our guys were pretty tired while we were getting changed. I don't even want to talk about this game we owned our hockey but they were big and not too hockey skilled. I will say that when there was a minute left Brandon Masson Absolutely crushed 2 of their players. Wyatt K made a joke he said "There's only 1 thing we couldn't win against this team, a line brawl.

The next day It was Virden against Hartney, Deloraine. We were the only unbeaten teams at the tourney. Most of the guys on are team knew and were friends with them too. It was a going to be a good game. The first period started off with them getting a lucky bounce to make it 1 nothing. Then we had a powerplay and Marc shot the puck right when the buzzer went and guess what it went in. There was no goal though because it wasn't basket-ball, THIS IS HOCKEY.

So we went into the second down a goal but that's alright because we were gonna get the next one, and we did. Marc took a shot and it went in and counted this time. Then Monty got a goal and it was 2:1 Virden.

The third period there was some penalties. Then we killed em off but they scored. The score was all tied up.Wyatt K got a goal. SNIPE. I may have been a little excited throwing my hands in the air like I won the stanley cup but good enthusiam. I was on the ice when it happened I had to stop myself from throwing my hands in the air. Then we got another penalty at the end and they pulled their goalie but thanks to good hockey we won. Virden 3 Hartney Deloraine 2.

That was pretty much all I did this weekend.

my chistmas holidays

Over christmas break we had lots of fun. I pretty much just sat around and slept alot but it was fun for 1 day. Because then my family came and I went over to my Grandma's were we have Christmas to talk to them. My Mom gave me and my brother each a hundred dollars from the CO-OP check to but ifts with. I went shopping a bought this nice glass thing that says Merry Christmas and a mug. I also got my Grandpa a mug to drink hot chocolate and made my Grandma a turtle in scratch art which is her favourite animal. I got a lot of gifts mostly a lot of new clothes. My Uncle lives in Calgary so he sent some money as did my great Grandma. My Mom and Dad also got me a Sportcheck gift card and some money. Guess what id did boxing day with my 200 dollors? We drove into Brandon and I bought a wooden hockey stick so I could improve my shot. Sportcheck has nice clothes so I got some sweats and gym clothes too.

The next week I went to sticks and pucks almost every day for like 6 hours. Griffin Horn was usually there.

My Rad Resolutions

1. Go to breakfast club at least 2 times a week.

2. Get a goal against Melita Friday night.

3. To make 5 blog posts without it being an assignment by the end of the school year.

4. To get a home run in baseball this season.

5. Go to the outdoor rink more and work on my shooting.

6. To get the math award at the next excellence assembly.

The Chicken Rush

I couldn't leave like that . I had to know why

Mr. Oldcorn didn't give me a good mark on my rap. I was so like, "Cole Mathews is his name."

And he was so like, "No that's not good enough."

I remember it like it was last period even though it was first class. I went up to him after I finished my math test, "Hey, what's the deal with my mark O?"

"What do you mean?" said Mr. O.

"I mean, what's the deal with my rap mark?"

"What are you talking about? I gave you a 99.99%!!" said Mr. O.

"Then why did you say that's not good enough when I was rapping?"

" Oh that, I was ordering chicken on my cellphone and they only had one left."

“That’s a relief.”

“Well now that the case of my bad rap mark is over I’ll go chill at home.” I told Mr. O.

My Weekend

This Friday we played Souris in Virden and won 5 to 4. The following day we played Souris in Souris. The game was a lot more exciting with Wyatt's massive hit and Derek's fight he got in. Derek got into a fight because there was this number 16 on Souris that cheaped shotted matt at 5 seconds left. Derek jumped in and threw about 5 good right's at the guy. We won the game 5 to 1 though.

After the game in Souris we took Matt into Brandon and hung out with Tanner, and Kyle. I took my mom into sportchek and bought a new hockey bag. Then We had some pizza in the foodcourt. After our feast we went into the putting section of sportcheck and had an intense 30 rounds of putting on their practice green.

The sportchek worker got mad because we were laughing so we left and wandered the mall. We went into Jersey City and I took some pictures of all the things I want for Christmas. It was around 6:00 now so we went to Applebees for supper. I had a bourbon steak with blackened shrimp. It was pretty good but kinda spicy.

By the time we were done it was 7:00 so we went to the rink to watch the Wheat kings

Virden vs Reston

It was the semi-final and it was Virden vs Reston. Zach harvey served it into the net our point. Virden got a couple good serves in to get 5 points. Reston got their serve back and kept it for almost the rest of the set and won it. The second set the score was going up pretty even. It was 5:5 10:10. Then Reston kept the lead for a couple serves and the score was 14:13 for Reston. We had the serve now and it was Wilson's serve. He served it over and it was going out but Adam Forsyth kept it in and spiked it down at us and won the game for them. Reston then went on to play Kola in the finals and lose when Bradley Rowand served the ball out of play. Kola won the championship.

What I Did After School Today

When I got home today after school I was very tired. My mom told me to go take a nap, so i took a nap till around 5:00. When i woke up i had to go downstairs to babysit my mom's friends daughter. Her name is Becca she is around 3 years old and is always really happy. While my Mom was cooking supper, Becca kept sliding off of her chair. Mom told her to stop it and right when she told her she fell and hurt her stomach. After Becca stopped crying we had supper which was chick chicken pot pies. When we were done eating Becca's mom Beth came and took her home. I then watched TV for a couple hours and went to bed at 9:30.
